Shipping policy

Shipping Location

As a cottage food operation, we are only permitted to ship within the state of Illinois. We cannot accept orders from or ship to addresses outside of Illinois.

Processing Time

Orders are typically processed and shipped within 3-5 business days. During peak seasons or farmers market weekends, processing may take up to 7 business days. You'll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order ships.

Shipping Methods

We ship via USPS Ground Advantage or UPS Ground Saver depending on package size and weight. Most orders within Illinois arrive within 2-4 business days after shipping.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location within Illinois and the weight of your order. We pack carefully to protect your candy during transit.

Weather Considerations

Hard candy can melt in extreme heat. During summer months (June through September), we may delay shipping until cooler days or early in the week to avoid weekend delays. If temperatures are expected to exceed 85°F during transit, we'll contact you to discuss timing options.

Delivery Issues

If your package shows as delivered but you haven't received it, please check with neighbors and household members first. Contact us at store@sapphirecandy.com if you still can't locate your package, and we'll work with you to resolve the issue.

Package Protection

We pack all orders carefully to minimize breakage, but some pieces may break or stick together during shipping. This is normal for hand-pulled hard candy and doesn't affect quality or taste. See our Return & Refund Policy for more details.
